Loretta Ann Allen Brewer

Eagle Springs - Loretta Ann Allen Brewer, age 74, passed away Monday, June 5, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Brewer was born in Moore County to the late James Curtis and the late Dorothy (Sanders) Allen. She was a retired truck driver with the NC DOT.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Vernon Brewer, of the home; one daughter, Karen Hinson Brown (Lee) of Seagrove; three sons, Kevin Hinson (Arlene) of Pisgah, Dean Hinson (Anna) of Seagrove, and Rocky Hinson of Level Cross; two sisters, Verna A. Hancock of Robbins and Janet A. Summerlin of Robbins; five grandchildren, Ronnie, Miranda, Nicolaus, Christopher, and Noah; and one great-grandchild, Braylen.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 7, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 8, at 11:00 am at Brown's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery, 608 Brown's Chapel Church Road, Robbins with Rev. Larry May officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
