Eva Blanche Upton Auman

Seagrove - Eva Blanche Upton Auman, age 86, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor.

Mrs. Auman was born in Moore County on June 30, 1931 to John and Ina (Hogan) Upton. She was a homemaker and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ira Auman; sisters, Nora Mabe, Myrtle Mabe, Dorothy Snow, Rocity Bodsford, and Mabel Maness; brothers, Farrell Upton and Lloyd Upton.

She is survived by one son, Farrell C. Auman and wife, Janet, of Asheboro; two grandsons, Scott Auman of Cedar Point, and Greg Auman of St. Louis, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Kemper, Kennedy, and Landon Auman.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – 1:45 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Phillips Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Ron Chaney officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
