Addie Mae Freeman King

Addie Mae Freeman King, 93, of 270 Lucas Rd., Star, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 25, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216, South Main Street, Star, with Elder Johnny Ray Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Star, NC. Mrs. King was born in Montgomery County to William King and Mary Catherine Johnson Freeman. She was retired from Clayson Knitting Co. and was a homemaker. Surviving are her Sons: Billy King, Randleman, NC Harold King, Troy, NC Charles King, Troy, NC Gary King, Robbins, NC Daughters: Nancy Stultz, Asheboro, NC Brenda Pate Wilkins, Asheboro, NC Mary Lewin, Cocoa , FL 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. King was predeceased by her husband, Jessie Willard King; sons-in-law, Gary Stultz and Bill Pate, Jr; and by grandchildren, Andy Pate and Mike King. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, February 25, from 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm at Phillips Funeral Home.
