Aitha Evelyn Kennedy

Star - Aitha Evelyn Kennedy, age 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Moore County on December 29, 1924 to John Spinks and Jerusha (Maness) Kennedy. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Charles Lee Kennedy.

She is survived by her sons, David (Linda) and Farrell (Brenda) Kennedy, as well as three grandchildren, Kristin Reeder (Jared), Rachel Sfera (Victor), and Grant Kennedy. She was great-grandmother to three grandsons, Paxton Reeder, Lincoln Reeder, and soon to arrive, Lucas Sfera. She is also survived by one brother, Harrison Kennedy.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 1:00 - 1:45 pm at Beulah Baptist Church, 8454 Howard Mills Road, Bennett, NC.

The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at Beulah Baptist Church, where she was a long-time member, with Rev. Neal Jackson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
