Alexander Lee Lamonds

Biscoe- Alexander (Andy) Lee Lamonds, age 77, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Mr. Lamonds was born in Moore County on October 23, 1943, to Fred Lee and Mae Louise Phillips Lamonds. He was a graduate of East Montgomery High School. He was a salesman with Montgomery Motors for 56 years and a member of the Biscoe Fire Department. He was a wonderful dad and a great husband. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Phillip Lester Welch. He is survived by his wife, Judy Van Derveer Lamonds of the home; son, Michael Lamonds of Foxfire Village; daughter, Cynthia Ann Lamonds of Biscoe; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Anderson and Sheree Loraine Anderson; great grandchildren, Matthew Scott Anderson and Linda Pearl Anderson. Mr. Lamonds will lie in repose from 1:00 till 5:00 on Wednesday, August 4, at Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, at the Biscoe Cemetery.
