Allie Irene Farr Jarrell

Allie Irene Farr Jarrell, 96, of Star, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Randolph Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Wallace Jarrell officiating. Interment will be in Star House of Praise Cemetery.

Mrs. Jarrell was born in Forney, Texas to Oscar and Ollie Mae Gregory Farr and was a retired hosiery mill worker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyle Sampson Jarrell and son, Richard Jarrell.

She is survived by her son, David K. Jarrell and wife, Linda, of Gastonia; granddaughter, Christine Jarrell; 2 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM - 3:45 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
