Star- Amaryllis Nichols Camp, age 92, passed away on February 9, 2022 at her home.
She was born in Montgomery County on June 25, 1929 to Colon Everette and Nellie Cornelison Nichols. Amaryllis was a retired CNA and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, Seagrove congregation.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Camp Jr.; sister Berlie Nichols and brother Wilford Nichols.
She is survived by her sons Jimmy Camp (Marda) of Carolina Beach; Terry Camp of Radford, VA; Randy Camp (Penny) of Asheboro; daughters Sharon Spencer (Randall) of Asheboro; and Jane Carroll (Eric) of Denton. Brother Roger Nichols (Valjean) of Star and sister Mary Alice Davis of Seagrove. Eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Cornelison Family Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
