Eagle Springs - Angelee Davis Pinkerton, 77, of 9829 NC Hwy 705, died Thursday, January 6, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clay Davis and Rev. Phil Staton officiating. Interment will be in Brown's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Pinkerton was born in Montgomery County to John Dossie and Mary Margaret Moore Davis and was a retired hosiery mill employee. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Pinkerton, brothers, Roy "Buster" Davis, Junior Davis, J. C. Davis, Randy Davis; sisters, Sue Myrick, Maxine Smith.
Surviving are her daughters, Paulette Davis and husband, Johnny, of Seagrove, Betty Dennis of High Falls; sons, Bucky Davis and wife, Vivian, of Biscoe, Johnny R. Davis and friend, Linda McCann, of Eagle Springs; special friend, Jimmy Papaioannou; brother, Ronnie Davis of Carthage; sisters, Maudie Jane Richardson of Eagle Springs, Virginia Brower of Eagle Springs, Betty Williams of Eagle Springs; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, January 7, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Johnny R. Davis, 1986 Bensalem Church Road, Eagle Springs.
