Biscoe - Anna Louise Perdue Lamonds, 87, of 401 Lambert Road, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Faith Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Martin E. Davis, Rev. Wayne Vuncannon, and Rev. Gary Moger officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lamonds was born in Forest Hill, WV to O. Homer and Mamie Mann Perdue. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert James Lamonds, Sr. Surviving are her sons, Robert J. Lamonds, Jr. and wife, Pam, of Franklinville, Donald Lamonds, of Biscoe, Joe Lamonds and wife, Kimberly, of Biscoe, Neil Lamonds and wife, Dani, of Biscoe; daughters, Carolyn Haywood and husband, Lonnie, of Candor, Jean Britt, of Biscoe, Pattie Carter and husband, Phil, of Star, Ann Lamonds, of Hamlet; brother, Jerry Foster and wife, Brenda, of Wayside, West Virginia; sister, Mildred Bell, of Portsmouth, Virginia; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home of Carolyn and Lonnie Haywood, 706 McCallum Road, Candor.
