Anna Frances Webb Hursey

Star - Anna Frances Webb Hursey, 88, formerly of US 220 Alt N, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 6, 2014, at New Hope Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hursey was born in Montgomery County to William Oscar and Ollie Branson Webb. She was a retired hosiery mill worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hursey; sister, Alma Rush; and brother, J.T. Webb. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Ussery (Bill) of Seven Lakes, Marie Parsons (David) of Star; son, Jerry Hursey (Beth) of Star; brother, William Loy "Buck" Webb (Mabeline) of Biscoe; six grandchildren, Wanda Ussery, David Ussery (Teri), Renee Talbert (Marty), Philip Hursey (Katie), Tim Parsons (Anna), Alex Parsons; seven great-grandchildren, Stephen Bernasconi (Desiree), Catherine Ussery, Taylor Ussery, Amber Ussery, Mason Talbert, Sadie Talbert, Phinley Hursey; two great-great-grandchildren, Stevie and Ayden. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, December 5, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, PO Box 434, Star, NC 27356.
