Annie Mae Morris Dunn

Biscoe - Annie Mae Morris Dunn, age 88, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, at Montgomery Village Assisted Living in Star.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Montgomery County on December 9, 1930 to L. D. and Luna McCaskill Morris. She was retired from Pine Hosiery Mill in Star and attended Center Cross Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dossie Anderson Dunn, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Julie Sheffield and husband, Everette, of Asheboro; son, Gary L. Dunn and wife, Connie, of Biscoe; sisters, Lee Ella Pipkin of Troy and Jean Thompson of Mocksville; brother, Luke Morris and wife, Eleanor, of Biscoe; grandchildren, Cliff Dunn and wife Hannah, of Pinehurst and Caroline S. McKee and husband, Brandon, of Asheboro; and great-grandson, Colin Dunn.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m., Monday, October 7, at Phillips Funeral Home.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grant Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Biscoe Cemetery.
