Seagrove - Annie Ruth Cagle Rose, age 90, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, March 1, 2019, at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Rose was born in Montgomery County on August 2, 1928, to Irvin and Ella Vasti Comer Cagle. She was retired from Black and Decker. She was a loving mother, loved gardening and flowers, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Rose; granddaughter, Tina Rose; and brothers, Joe, Clyde, Melvin, and Virgil Cagle.
She is survived by daughter, Shelia Cagle and husband, Donnie, of Ether; son, Tommy Rose and wife, Donna, of Asheboro; sister, Betty Lineberry, of Robbins; three grandchildren, Devin Myrick and husband, Tripp, of Biscoe, Matthew Rose of Sophia, and Holly Rose Sanford of Asheboro; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 – l:45 p.m., Monday, March 4, at Dover Baptist Church.
The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Chris Bouldin and Rev. Patrick Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
