Arthur Grey "Trigger" Hogan
Star- Arthur Grey "Trigger" Hogan, 88, of 231 Dover Street, died Sunday, April 26, 2009, at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Hogan Grove Holiness Church, with the Rev. Clyde Allen and the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Burial will follow in Leach Cemetery in Star, with military honors.
He was a native of Montgomery County, a retired textile worker, and a World War II US Army veteran where he received three Bronze Service Stars while serving in the campaigns of New Guinea, Luzon and South Philippines liberation.
Surviving are sons, John Lee Hogan of Star, Robert Hogan of Seagrove, Clifford Hogan of Biscoe; daughter, Evonne Wilkes of Carthage; two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home in Star; other times at the home.
