Barry Glenn Davis

Barry Glenn Davis, age 66, of Star, passed away on July 18 2024, at SECU Jim & Betsy Bryan Hospice House.

Mr. Davis was born on May 12, 1958, in Montgomery County to Jesse and Lela Freeman Davis. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas Davis and Martin Davis.

He is survived by his daughter Glenda Davis of Star; sister Lenda Smith (Billy) of Biscoe; brother Dossie Davis of Star, and significant other Meredith Williams Kaye of the home. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nick, Alyssa, Fayth, Kayden, Alayna, and his beloved dog Sadie.

A viewing for Mr. Davis will be held at Phillips Funeral Home on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Ether United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Lynthacum officiating.

The family will be gathering at the home of Lenda Smith located at 198 Martin Dr. in Biscoe.
