Biscoe - Benny Lee Dunn, Sr., passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, at his home with his son, Benjy and wife, Judy by his side.
Benny was born in Montgomery County on August 2, 1941, to Charles "Charlie" Stanback and Flossie Maness Dunn. He was the owner/operator of Dunn's Auto Service Center in Biscoe and Dunn's Flea Market. He was an avid Nascar fan, especially a fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He loved his Ford trucks and Cub Cadet tractors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and especially his great-grandchildren, Parker Kate Dunn and Maris Elise Hurley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Judy W. Dunn, of the home; son, Benjy Dunn and wife, Sherry; stepdaughter, Angela Thompson Brown; sister, Betty Sedberry, all of Biscoe; grandchildren, Ben Dunn and wife, Katelyn of Biscoe and Lindsey Hurley and husband, Dylan of Troy; two great-grandchildren, Parker Kate Dunn and Maris Elise Hurley.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Don Clement officiating.
