Betty Joe Ponds Needham

Biscoe - Betty Joe Ponds Needham, age 81, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. Needham was born in Anson County on January 23, 1940 to Joe Bascom and Pansy Mae Griffin Ponds. She was a retired CNA. She is survived by her daughter, Janell Reynolds and husband, Ben of Star; son, Jody Callicutt and wife, Pam of Star; sister, Mary Grace Turner of Polkton; grandchildren, Adam Joseph Callicutt of Lexington, Tracey Callicutt, Justin Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, and Nathan Reynolds; and great-grandchildren, A.J. Callicutt, Jr. and Connor Reynolds. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 25, at Ether United Methodist Church Cemetery.
