Betty Graves Singleton

Betty Graves Singleton, 80, of Millboro Road, Franklinville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14, 2014, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Frank Graves and Donnah Graves of Randolph County. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 17, at Big Oak Church of God with Rev. Chris Boyd officiating. Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Guy Singleton; sisters, Dorothy Wall and Ethel Cline; brothers, Colon Graves, Carson Graves, R. "Willie" Graves, and James Graves, all of Randolph County. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Stone of Asheboro and Donna Fields of Franklinville; sisters, Ruth Morris of Franklinville and Christine Chriscoe of Randleman; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and, four great-great-grandchildren. There are many nieces, nephews, and friends who will keep a place in their heart for her. A special thank you to the following people who loved and supported the family during Betty's illness: Penny, Joshua, Sue Wanna, Tabby, Summer, Wanda, Justin, Larry and Sharon, and Liberty HomeCare and Hospice staff. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 16, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Star. At other times, the family will be at the home of Ruth Morris, 3039 Mack-Lineberry Road, Franklinville, NC. Funeral: 2:00 pm, Monday, November 17, Big Oak Church of God Visitation: 6 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 16, Phillips Funeral Home
