Billie Joe Latham

Asheboro - Billie "Bill" Joe Latham, 44, of 5529 New Hope Church Road, died Saturday, June 22, 2013. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, June 25, at Freeman Family Cemetery in Star with the Rev. Thurman Williams officiating. Mr. Latham was born in Montgomery County. He loved to fish, go camping, and loved his family and friends. He is survived by his father, Jerry B. Latham, Sr., mother, Rose Marie Freeman Latham, both of Star; brothers, Terry Latham and wife, Sherry, of Asheboro, Jerry B. Latham, Jr., of Star; sister, Mollie Clark and husband, David, of Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, Tuesday June 25, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. A graveside service will be held 4:00 pm Tuesday June 25, 2013 at the Tucker Freeman Family Cemetery, with the Rev. Thurman Williams officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the graveside service from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 S. Main St. Star NC.
