Troy - Bobby Bryan Reynolds, 88, of Love Joy Road, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2015, at Ophir United Methodist Church with the Rev. M. Bill Knapp officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with full military provided with the US Air Force. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church located at 2020 Ophir Road, Troy from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Mr. Reynolds was born in Montgomery County to Barney B. and Claudia Revell Reynolds. He was a retired veteran of the US Air Force with 25 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Reynolds and William H. Reynolds, Sr. His survivors include his niece, Karen R. Johnson, of Candor; nephew, William H. Reynolds, Jr., of Troy; sister-in-law, Betty McCallum Reynolds, of Troy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Montgomery County Relay for Life, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207; FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374; or Ophir UMC, c/o Kevin Saunders, 2659 Ophir Road, Troy, NC 27371.
