Bobby Gene Williams

Star - Bobby Gene Williams, 83, of Smith Street, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 9, 2015, at Ether United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating. Mr. Williams was born in Montgomery County to Lester T. and Myrtie Brown Williams. He was a veteran of the US Navy and was a retired engineer for Norfolk Southern Railway. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Freeman Williams. He is survived by his son, Toby Williams of Biscoe; sister, Lynda Jordan, of Tallahassee, Florida. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
