Biscoe - Bonnie Marie Ester Bowman, 74, of 538 Cedar Creek Road, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at FirstHealth Hospice House. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Haywood and Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Mrs. Bowman was born in Montgomery County to Samuel Elmer and Delet Virginia Kennedy Ester and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Bowman. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Ann Brooks of Bennett, Wanda Sue Martin, of Oak Island, Violet Denise Williams, Bramwell, WV, Mary Kuehne of Robbins; sons, Jimmy Lee Bowman of Candor, Kenneth Edgar Bowman of Biscoe; brother, Jimmy Wesley Ester, of Edenton; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2013, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Haywood and Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating.
