Bonnie Evelyine Maness Bollinger, 90, of Gastonia died on Friday, February 20, 2014 at Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas, NC. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 23, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 South Main Street, Star, with burial to follow in Biscoe Cemetery. Mrs. Maness was born in Biscoe to Ed Vernon and Bertha Britt Maness. She had previously been employed by Biscoe Cotton Mill and Roses in Asheboro. She was also a homemaker. She is survived by her son, Bo Bollinger of Gastonia; daughter, Freida Bollinger of Gastonia; brother, Mickey Maness of Raleigh; sister, Shirley Johnson of Concord; grandson, Chase Bollinger; great-grandson, Lukas Bollinger; nieces, Vickie Houser, Diane Harris, Tammie Moore, Wanda Taylor, Meri Hauser, Kelly Flynn, Beverly Parte; and, nephews, Donnie Maness, Ronnie Maness, Robin Maness, Frankie Yarboro, and Randy Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 23, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 216 South Main Street, Star, with burial to follow in Biscoe Cemetery.
