Boyd Mitchell Britt, 67, of 180 Cody Lane, Star, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at FirstHealth Moore Regional. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 23, at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 530 New Hope Church Road, Star, with the Rev. Gene Davis officiating. Mr. Britt was born in Moore County to William Calvin and Johnsie Davis Britt. He was a fixer for Springs Industries, Inc. for many years. Surviving are Two Sons: Mitchell Britt, Star, NC William Cody Britt, Robbins, NC One Daughter: Amanda Latham and husband, Jeff, Star, NC Three Brothers: John Britt, High Point, NC Floyd Britt, Robbins, Kenneth Britt, Star, NC Two Sisters: Shirley Williamson, Star, NC Thelma Morgan, Seagrove, NC 2 grandsons; 3 great-grandsons. No visitation is planned.
