Brandy Perkins Odom

Brandy Perkins Odom, age 55, of Biscoe, passed away on April 18, 2023 at Montgomery Memorial Hospital in Troy, NC.

Brandy was born on January 15, 1968, to Lewis Perkins and Mary Finch Perkins Anderson. She was a devoted advocate of child development and education, she had just finished her 20th year with Montgomery County Partnership for Children as the Child Care Resource and Referral Program Coordinator for the Troy office.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Anderson of Biscoe; brothers, Lewis Perkins (Dragana) of Delray Beach, FL and Donald Perkins (Teri) of Wadesboro; step sister Cathie Winffel (Carlos) of Gaithersburg, MD; step brother, Douglas Anderson of Silver Spring, MD; eight beloved nieces and nephews and eleven adored great nieces and nephews.

Brandy was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Perkins Jr. and her step father, Harold "Gene" Anderson.

Her viewing will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Phillips Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Star United Methodist Church at 11:00 am.
