Troy - Brenda Kay Morton Beane, 62, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Troy Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Ronald Smith officiating. Interment will be in Big Oak Church of God. Mrs. Beane was born in Montgomery County to Ray and Ruth Blalock Morton. She was a retired hosiery mill worker. Surviving are her husband, Darrell Beane, of the home; daughter, Wanda Kay Beane (Jody) of Jackson Springs; sons, Junior Lee Beane (Cathy) of Troy, John Beane (Melissa) of Asheboro; mother, Ruth Blalock Morton, of Troy; brothers, Frankie, Jerry, Johnny, and Dennis Morton, of Troy; sisters, Ila Hogan, Carolyn Taylor, Linda Carter of Hamlet; grandchildren, David Lee Beane of Troy, Amy Leigh Beane, Brandon Lee Beane, Hollie Noel Jenkins Fields, Chandler Alexander Jenkins, Hannah Jenkins, Kattrin Rose Beane, John Wesley Beane, Jr.; eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Troy Pentecostal Holiness Church.
