Burlene Mae Key Moore

Candor - Burlene Mae Key Moore, age 79, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor.

Mrs. Moore was born in Moore County on September 4, 1938 to Astor and the Nannie Viola (Moore) Key. She was a retired furniture manufacturing employee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Junior Moore; daughter, Lynnette Moore; twin brother, Burleigh Key and brother, Harold Key.

She is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Goodwin and husband, Brian, of Biscoe; one granddaughter, Amber Goodwin; one sister, Paulette Gillis and husband Reubin, of Durham; and one brother, Vernon Key and wife, Mary, of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends from 8:30 – 9:30 AM on Thursday, January 11, at Phillips Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Brown's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Michael Parenti officiating.
