Carolyn Williams Futrell

Virginia Carolyn Williams Futrell, 70, of Candor died on October 24, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice House following a sudden illness. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, November 1, at Bensalem Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Mark Carver officiating. Born June 2, 1944 in Pinehurst, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Geraldine Williams of Candor. Carolyn graduated from East Montgomery High School in 1962. She held several office positions; her longest employment was with JP Stevens where she worked for 19 years. She retired in 2011 from Mountaire in Candor. Carolyn was a loving wife and mother who cared about everyone. She would do whatever it took to make sure everyone was happy. She had a very big heart and cared about everyone. Her smile, laugh, and overall caring spirit will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Roby "Nicky" Futrell, of the home; daughter, Sherri Evans (Raymond) of West End; brothers, Bobby Williams (Helen) of Eagle Springs, David Williams of Candor, Chris Williams (Sundee) of West End; and, grandsons, Justin Evans of Greenville, NC and Brandon Evans of West End. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bensalem Presbyterian Church Fund will be accepted in Carolyn's name.
