Chad Wallace Maynard

Star - Chad Wallace Maynard, 29, of 3379 Okeewemee Road, died Thursday, August 4, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Star United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating. Interment will follow in the Maynard Family Cemetery, 1489 Cagle Road, Seagrove. Chad was a native of Montgomery County and was a 2000 graduate of East Montgomery High School. He was a commercial poultry producer for Mountaire Farms. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, of Troy; parents, Johnny and Teresa Davis Maynard, of Ether; brothers, Garrett Maynard and wife, Chastity, of Star, Josh Maynard of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, Matthew Maynard of Star; maternal grandmother, Betty Coggins Johnson, of Biscoe; paternal grandmother, Betty Floyd Maynard, of Star; neice, Destinee, of Star; nephews, Dylan, Mason, and Cole, all of Star. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at his home on Okeewemee Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FirstHealth Foundation (Robins Unit), 150 Applecross Road, Turnberry Woods, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
