Charles Watson Carter Jr.

Charles Watson Carter Jr., age 76, passed away on August 18, 2022 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro.

Charles was born on August 8, 1946 in Robeson County to Charles and Evelyn Brisson Carter Sr.  He loved country music, especially Hank Williams Jr., he loved to drink coffee, he had a great sense of humor, loved to draw and play chess and had a good singing voice.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert (Bob) Carter, Phil Carter and Gar Carter.  Sisters Ramona Sorenson and Patricia Anderson.

He is survived by his sister Cindy Hussey of Robbins and sister in law Pattie Carter of Star.

 A Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Chaney officiating.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Randolph at 416 Vision Drive Asheboro, NC 27203.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Woodland Hill Center, Brookstone Haven and Hospice of Randolph for the wonderful care of Charles.
