Charles Norris Morgan

Charles Norris Morgan, age 81, of Seagrove, passed away on January 20, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Mr. Morgan was born on August 4, 1943, in Moore County to Isaac Frank and Eula Page Morgan. Charles honorably served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Ernest Morgan and sister Edith McCaskill.

He is survived by his wife JoAnn Chriscoe Morgan of the home; son Jamie Morgan of Eagle Springs; daughter Christie Davis of Asheboro; sisters Ruth Emery of Springlake; Rachel Comer of Seagrove; Helen Kennedy of Robbins; Marilyn Auman of Seagrove; Doris Stutts of Seagrove, and brothers Wayne Morgan; Frankie Morgan and Dallas Morgan all of Seagrove. As well as grandchildren Jacob Davis and Alyssa Morgan.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Union Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Dr. Ron Chaney and Rev. Gary Reeder officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00-1:45 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
