Charlie M. Puckett West End - Charlie Monroe Puckett, 67, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009, at West End Cemetery with the Rev. David Reynolds officiating. He was a native of Moore County, a veteran of the US Army, and was a truck driver. Surviving are his son, Charles Everette "Chuck" Puckett; sisters, Nellie Easter of Cana, VA, Eunice Puckett of West End, Inez Hall of Biscoe, Allie Smith of Monroe, Lucille Britt of Star, Louisa Freeman of Eagle Springs; brother, Oliver Puckett of Hamlet, Ken Puckett of Biscoe, Sammy Puckett of Biscoe; foster brother, James Quesinberry of Mt. Airy. The family will receive friends following the service at Middle Cross Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 440 Lucas Road, West End. Arrangements are being handled by Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
