Christina "Christy" Lynn Blake Myrick

Biscoe - Christina "Christy" Lynn Blake Myrick, age 58, died Monday, October 26, 2020, at her brother's home. Christy was born in Moore County on July 26, 1962 to Rayvon Robert and Virginia Dare Sneed Blake. She was a 1980 graduate of East Montgomery High School, a 1984 graduate of Western Carolina, where she earned her bachelor's degree in marketing. In 2019, she earned her degree as a registered nurse from Davidson County Community College. She had been employed at Autumn Care of Biscoe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Dean Blake. She is survived by her son, Caleb Sean Myrick of Charlotte; sister, Kim Martin of Suffolk, VA; brother, Mike Blake (Pat) of Troy; and her grand dog, Archer. Her remains will lie in repose from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, at Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 30, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Roseman officiating.
