Star - Christopher Grant Ritter, 38, of Mabe Road, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at UNC Hospitals. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Garner Family Cemetery, North Moore Road, Robbins with the Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Mr. Ritter was born in Moore County to Tina Marie Ritter, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Katy Muraszewski Ritter, of the home; son, Christopher Grant Ritter II, of the home; sister, April Danielle Watson, of Moore County; grandmother, Thelma Ritter, of Star; uncle, Randy Lee Ritter, of Greensboro; cousins, Melisa Lynn Campbell, Racheal LeAnn Freeman, both of Candor; 10 nephews; 5 nieces. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
