Mr. Clayton James, 92, of 217 Auman Rd., Biscoe, died Sunday, January 8,
2012 at First Health Hospice House of Pinehurst.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 10, at First Baptist Church, Biscoe, where he was a member, with the Rev. Larry Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Britt-Deaton Cemetery, Auman Road, Biscoe.
Mr. James was born in Stokes County to Luz and Daisy Mabe James. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII, was a member of the Stanley County VFW Honor Guard, and was a member of VFW Post 9881. Mr. James was a watchmaker, a member of the Good Ole Boys, and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
