Curtis Isaac Brewer, age 87, of 1772 Browns Mill Road, Robbins, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 02, 2009, at Bascom Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. James Brewer and Rev. Gary Waisner officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Brewer was a native of Moore County and was a retired electrician. Surviving are: Wife: Virginia Faye Morgan Brewer, of the home Two Daughters: Wanda Needham, Carthage, NC Nancy Story, Asheboro, NC One Son: Danny Brewer, Sr., Robbins, NC One Sister: Onnie Britt, Candor, NC Seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 01, 2009, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home.
