Danny Ray Carrick

Star - Danny Ray Carrick, 51, of Star, died Monday, June 27, 2011, at Randolph Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Big Oak Church of God with the Rev. Tim Beck and Rev. Billy Chriscoe officiating. He was born in Randolph County and was a self-employed produce salesman. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Carrick, son, Dale Morton, and brother, Jeff Carrick. He is survived by his mother, Shirley S. Carrick, of the home; two grandchildren, Garrett Morton and Olissa Morton; niece, Melisa Bond and husband, Drew; great-niece, Brea Bond; great-nephew, Caden Bond; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Big Oak Church of God. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph County, Inc., PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
