Darrell Edward Staley

Eagle Springs- Darrell Edward Staley, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at First Health Moore Regional.

Mr. Staley was born in Montgomery County on January 16, 1952 to Jack Alvis and Maggie Atkins Staley.

In addition to his parents, Darrell is preceded in death by the love of his life, Linda Morton.

He is survived by his son Darrell Staley Jr. (Rachel) of Georgia; daughter Felicia Hall (Billy) of Asheboro; son Christopher Staley (Sherri) of Texas; step daughter Kimberly Lowery (Brian) of Eagle Springs; sisters Marie Nelson of Greensboro; Trisha Tate of Aberdeen; brothers Ricky Staley of Eagle Springs; Ronnie Staley of Eagle Springs; and James Staley of Arkansas; and twelve grandchildren.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Phillips Funeral Home from 12:00- 1:30 pm.  A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at the Biscoe Cemetery with the Rev. Kay Boone officiating.
