David Odell Freeman

David Odell Freeman, age 73, of Star, passed away on November 24, 2022 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

David was born on July 10, 1949 in Moore County, to Dewey and Geneva Morgan Freeman.

He was preceded in death by his father Dewey Freeman and sister Regina Latham.

He is survived by his daughter, April Freeman of Asheboro; sons, Wesley Freeman (Melissa) of New London; and Mark Freeman of Star; mother, Geneva Freeman of Star; sisters, Margaret Davis of Star and Amanda Mudge of Seagrove. Grandchildren Austin Vandevander, Kaydence McCaskill, Kendall McCaskill, Summer Hurley, Leigha Freeman and Molly Freeman.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Star Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:50 pm.
