Delores Xanthia Edwards

Delores Xanthia Faircloth Edwards, age 66, of Star passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Delores was born May 21, 1954 in Cumberland County, to the late David Faircloth and the late Marie Bullard Faircloth. She loved her family and her pets. She owned and operated Edwards Insurance Agency in Asheboro, NC prior to retirement. She also taught cake decorating and enjoyed making cakes. She is survived by her husband: Lewis Wayne Edwards of the home; daughter: Kryste Van Hoose and husband Greg of Star, NC; brothers: Ishmael Faircloth of Dunn, NC, Dulles Faircloth, Sr., of Fayetteville, NC, Ian Faircloth of Autryville, NC, Hiram Faircloth of Youngsville, NC, and Mariam Faircloth of Wade, NC; sister: Cynthia Faircloth Lewis of Fayetteville, NC; granddaughter: Autumn Van Hoose of Star, NC; numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by brothers Craige, Jory, and Murray Faircloth. Services for Delores will be held at a later date.
