Biscoe - Donald Eugene Fales, 91, of Aileen Avenue, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2015, at Biscoe Christian Church with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating.
Mr. Fales was born in Warren, Ohio to Artie and Gertrude Lynn Fales.
Donald was a machinist, truck driver, a talented artist, and door greeter for Walmart in Biscoe. He painted a portrait of Sam Walton that is displayed on the wall behind the Walmart customer service area. He was a US Army veteran of WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Erla Mook Fales; granddaughter, Donna Mohney; sister, Janet Davis; brother, David Fales.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel Parker Fales, of the home; daughters, Claudia Suverison of Ohio, Cathy Seabolt of Troy; grandchildren, Noreen Rhine, Doreen Enos, Paul Spencer, Lynn Seabolt Epps, Steven Seabolt; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Teresa Ussery of Star, Marie Liebelt of Durham, Nancy McFadden of Pinehurst; 5 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren.
