Star - Donna Lynn Davis King, 42, of 161 Owen Street, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert McLeod officiating. Interment will be in West End Cemetery. Mrs. King was born in Randolph County and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Grant King, of the home; daughter, Amber Warner, of Concord; son, Joshua Davis, of Lumberton; daughters, Sarah King, Megan King, both of the home; father, Don Davis and wife, Denise, of Bear Creek; mother, Juanita Bruce and husband, Jerry, of Ether; son, Jason King, of Star; 8 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star and other times at the home.
