Rockingham - Doris Vivian Sills Collins, 75, formerly of Biscoe, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Interment will follow in Candor Cemetery. Mrs. Collins was born in Harnett County to Ollie and Gladys Holder Sills. She was a retired hosiery mill employee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and son, Michael Collins. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Black, of Rockingham; sons, Albert Collins of Star, James Collins of Rockingham; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 27, 2015, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star.
