Troy - Dossie Evan Morgan, 72, of 4564 Hwy 109 N, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his residence. A graveside memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Browns Chapel Christian Church with the Rev. Kjersti DeVries officiating. He was born in Moore County to Dossie G. and Etta Belle Morgan Morgan. He was a retired truckdriver. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Morgan, of Troy; sons, Gary Morgan and wife, Amy, of Thomasville, Danny Morgan and wife, Margaret, of Panama City, FL, Randy Morgan and wife, Kelly, of Biscoe, Dwayne Morgan of Troy; daughters, Joanne Maibohm and husband, Juergen, of Atlanta, GA, Angie Freeman, and husband, John, of Troy; sisters, Lola Allred of Robbins, Jane Lethco and husband, Thomas, of Eagle Springs; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
