Durham - Douglas John Register, age 65, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021, at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh. Mr. Register was born in Randolph County on August 3, 1955 to James McIver and Helen Virginia Smith Register. He was a nursing home recreation director. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Carolyn L. Register of Star; brothers, David T. Register of Seagrove and Michael Register of Statesboro, GA. No funeral services are planned.
