Edna Coleman Callicutt

Edna Coleman Callicutt, age 81, of Troy, passed away on June 2, 2023, at St. Joseph of the Pines.

Edna was born on March 22, 1942 in Brunswick County to Ernest and Reba Simmons Coleman. She was a retired textile worker and a member of Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Callicutt Sr.; sister, Ruth and brothers, William and Danny.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Callicutt Jr. of Troy; sisters, Ann Sanders of Biscoe; Janie Callicutt of Troy; Judy Hancock of Troy and brother, Melvis Coleman of Troy.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Callicutt Chapel Wesleyan Church at 4:00 pm with Rev. Blake Davis officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Montgomery County Humane Society, 1150 Okeewemee Road, Troy, NC 27371.
