Edna Evelyn Jackson Williamson

Biscoe - Edna Evelyn Jackson Williamson, 80, of Tarry Church Road, died Monday, December 15, 2014, at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 19, 2014, at Flint Hill Christian Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Don McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Williamson was born in Moore County to Theodore and Nellie Taylor Jackson. She was a retired hosiery mill employee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Vivian Williamson, Sr., and sisters, Sarah Britt and Elizabeth Kern. She is survived by her daughter, Rita W. Church (Dwayne) of Biscoe; sons, Clyde Williamson, Jr. (Alma) of Seagrove, Tony Williamson (Ann) of Biscoe; sister, Mae Cooper, of Asheboro; brothers, Robert Jackson and Gene Jackson, both of Biscoe; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Phillips Funeral Home, 216 South Main Street, Star. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Flint Hill Christian Church, c/o Mrs. James F. Bailey, 2987 Tarry Church Road, Biscoe, NC 27209.
