Elizabeth Cumming Bennett

Star - Elizabeth Cumming Bennett, 93, died Saturday, April 4, 2020. Mrs. Bennett was born in Jacksonville, FL to Ernest and Maude Cumming and was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ernestine Bock. She was married to the late Carlis G. Bennett. They served as fixed-base operators for Star Airport and Asheboro Municipal Airport after retirement from the commercial airline industry. During her lifetime, Mrs. Bennett enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home to the western United States, especially Wyoming. She was an avid reader and animal lover. She is survived by several step-children. The family would to thank her in-home caregivers, Autumn Care of Biscoe, and Community Home Care and Hospice for their great care and compassion that was shown to Mrs. Bennett.
