Ernest Eugene Hopper, 55, of Candor died Sunday, March 8, 2015, at FirstHealth Moore Regional. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2015, at Candor Cemetery with the Rev. Mike E. Holyfield and Rev. Kelly Russell officiating. Mr. Hopper was a native of Montgomery County. He had been employed as a forklift operator for GVK for twenty-two years. He was predeceased by his half-sister, Elizabeth Ann Causey. Surviving are his mother, Linda Lou Hopper Porter of Pinebluff; half-brother, Benjamin Leon Porter of Hoffman; and, half-sister, Sylvia Porter of Hoffman. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2015, at Candor Cemetery with the Rev. Mike E. Holyfield and Kelly Russell officiating.
