Star - Ernie Beane, age 80, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his residence.
Mr. Beane was born in Randolph County on September 21, 1937 to John and Florence (Chriscoe) Beane. He was a retired machine operator with NC DOT.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen Carter of Star; and two brothers, Darrell Beane of Troy and Ivey Beane of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Phillips Funeral Home in Star.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 18, at Big Oak Church of God Cemetery in Star.
