Essie Farlow Brady

Biscoe- Essie Farlow Brady, age 86, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Brady was born in Richmond County on October 4, 1935, to William Penn and Elizabeth Hogan Farlow.  She was a retired sewer for a furniture manufacturer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert George Brady, son Walter Brady, sisters, Blanche Satterfield, Pearlie Miller, Nellie Hunt, Detta Hill, Dette Dickerson and brother John Franklin Farlow and great grandson Jaxon.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny Brown (Phillip) of Biscoe and sister Alberta Hurley of Wilmington. Grandchildren, Michael Brown, Phillip Brown II, Amanda Brady, Amber Brady, and Whitney Brady.  Great grandchildren, Bradley, Thomas, Jesse, Jesus, Jaden, Miles and Gia.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Cabin Creek Church- 186 Allen Alley Biscoe, NC 27209 or Sparkles Cat Rescue- 2779 S. Church Street, Ste. 164 Burlington, NC 27215.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45 am at Community Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 11:00 am at Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Holyfield and Rev. Shawn Garner officiating.  Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
